Artisans are based on progression at the account level and as such there is no way to reset their levels at this point. That being said, we are considering adding an option or ability to reset artisans for people who truly want to start from scratch.
Jeweler
The strangely-titled Covetous Shen has gone by many names throughout his history, but none have seemed to fit quite so well as the one he’s using now. Shen originally hails from the diamond isles of Xiansai, but his wanderlust has taken him far from home.
Covetous Shen is carefree by nature, giving every appearance of being a man without ambition, and trusting in fate to guide him to where he needs to be. Shen’s lax attitude only changes when jewels are involved. His greed for glittering precious stones is legendary; he may even love them more than he loves his own life.
When Shen joins you, he is searching for a particularly rare gem, one he suspects you may have an eventual hand in finding. Until his own quest is at an end, he will use his transcendent talent for jewelcrafting in your service, helping to cut and shape the gems that will elevate your weapons and armor to new heights of foe-destroying potential.
“I’m a simple man. Give me a good meal, a warm bed and a handful of jewels.”
Jeweler Progression
As things look right now, artisans will be account-wide.
The gems that you will find in the game are of varying qualities. Some are better than others, and that will be pointed out by levels. The stones that you find vary from level 1 to level 5. However, a Jeweller can upgrade the gathered stones by combining them. That way, he can make stones of a maximum of level 14, even though that will require a lot of effort. In order to make a stone of level 6 for instance, the Jeweller will need three stones of level 5, which are of course quite rare. In order to make a stone of level 7, he will need three stones of level 6, and so on. I dont have the figures in my head, but if you keep calculating, it will require much effort to make a level 14 stone.
