Things are getting really bad…

Battlenet
Blizzard’s forums are way out of control, just reading it makes you grab a pitchfork and poke things with it. A lot of complaints are valid although some are what overdrawn. The story line isn’t exactly Shakespeare but it’s not horrific either. The bad guys are cartoon villains taunting you and making excuses throughout your progress up until you bash their brains in. I cant help but think it would be better for master strategist Azmodan to not appear around every corner and throw his entire plan out on the table.

Itemization issues are valid, legendary items need to be changed to perform specific roles in builds and have better damage all around. At first I figured farming was  a waste of time but with Nephalem Valor you can get nice loot from bosses even before inferno. Granted they are lower tier items making it unlikely to be better than the gear you can buy in the AH for cheap. Now that im trolling around in Inferno Act 1 (I played solo all the way) I can say it’s not that bad except for the fact you have to avoid the cheeselites packs that stomp all over you and that a lot of spells really don’t work anymore. I’m mostly running the Zombie Bears Vision Quest build as that is one of the few that has enough DPS to take out elites when your under geared.

My gear isnt that great (2okhp, 10k damage, 250 resist and 4000 armor) and I can farm the normal elite packs without too much trouble. I do need better equipment to do the actual bosses as they still one-shot me occasionally. It’s not real fun either if you run into a lot of the  invulnerable shielded mortar plagued packs. Or any other combination that is deadly within seconds.

Tonight will see what blizzard comes up with to address these issues. I am very curious.
